Playville Tour!!!:))

A mobile game most dear to my heart, LINE PLAY, shut down in May of 2024. Ever since then, I haven’t been able to find a game that even comes close to it T_T and I never expect to, because LP was truly one of a kind!!! But last year, I was really into a game named Playville. It has a pixel art style with so many intricate fashion and decor items which really drew me in. The artistry should really be applauded!! In the game, you dress up your avatar using items you get from gachas or specific quests. You get home decor items by crafting, mining, and gachas.

Anyway though, here is a tour of my courtyard!! In this game, you have both a house and a courtyard, but my courtyard is a lot more elaborate looking than my house… 

^^^^^ Here is a photo of my front porch. I was really inspired by people who, very early on the game, would remove the fences around their farm to use in front of their house as an imitation front porch. I put my bouquet-making table here, lots of plants, and a small table and chair to sit and enjoy a snack at. I lined the edges with some flowers.

^^^^^ Here is where the main functions of the courtyard happen: harvesting crops and receiving goods from your animals.

^^^^^ And here is… my favorite part of my courtyard!! It’s a tea party gathering area! I made macarons (an item with a very complicated recipe) and tiramisu just for this area. :P I put my wish fountain here (players can wish on each other’s fountain for friendship points), books (of course) and a couple of swing sets. I lined it with bushes and fancier white fences to make it feel like a hidden and special area.

My first celebrity encounter

 So this is a really funny story i think i've only ever told one person about, and a certain song is trending this month and so i thought i'd just bring this story up again :P 

A long time ago I tweeted about how two songs sounded like "sisters," as in they had the same vibes, similar production style and vocal effects, but were still unique in their own ways!! Then, just a few hours afterwards, I received a reply to my tweet that said "It's my fault . . . I'm the sisters." 

I was a little bit confused so I responded, "I'm not quite following but I'm listening." BUT THEN I googled his name, and IT'S ONE OF THE GUYS WHO PRODUCED "LIKE A G6"....... I WAS SHOCKED!!!!! 

After I realized, I told him I probably replayed one of his songs 200 times and thanked him for his amazing work. But it was so hilarious and completely unexpected!!! :P I just thought this was a very cute and nice moment in my life to be able to interact with him briefly. He responded with two hearts after I replied to him. So nice to be able to talk to cool producers!!!! T_T What he meant by his response was that he produced both the songs I was talking about! Having a signature production style that allows people to recognize you from songs is serious talent!!

P.S. In case you were wondering, the two "sister" songs are 3 Strikes by Terror Jr and Gold by Kiiara

I'm going to join a book club!!!!

I'm so excited, i'm going to join a digital book club!!!!! I've really wanted to get into reading again, but as someone who's chronically ill and has a pretty busy life (full time college + part time job), i didn't think that joining an in-person book club was possible for me :( maybe in the future though!!! However i absolutely leaped in joy when i was exploring Bentewee, this one online private server game i'll talk about sometime soon, and i found a user named Maple's blog!! I checked it out and she was running this awesome digital book club!! I can't wait to join, i'm gonna send an email to join tomorrow!! I absolutely can't wait to begin reading again and checking out books from the library again!!! :D

Will I make a neocities??! (+ cleaning out my closet)

 The short answer is: YES, just not now!!

Tbhh it's because I was way too excited to start blogging right NOW that (as someone who has 0 experience in code and is currently burnt out from 4 months of science hell (it was a pretty fun and interesting semester, just the most stressed I've been in a long time)), i'm not equipped right now to make a full on website yet. But that doesn't mean i'm not willing to learn and make one eventually!! It could be a fun summer project maybe! :) But for now, i'm really happy with my Blogspot and i'm excited to post more on here!! 

I think that you have lots more freedom with neocities. With blogspot, you can edit the html if you want to, but i don't know if there's any restrictions with that. You have a lot more freedom with Neocities given you're essentially making your entire website from scratch. Also, i feel like not a lot of people use blogspot/blogger nowadays, while Neocities is a lot more active. At least that's the impression I get. However, that's also why I chose Blogspot specifically to start out. I'm not used to posting anything of myself publicly (I've never posted a photo of myself on Instagram even though i've had the app since 2019!!) so I just want to start small so that I'm not overwhelmed. I like the fact that Blogspot feels a little bit more private hehe...

Organizing my closet...

I've been having this burning urge to declutter my closet but also my entire room. Today my mom reorganized part of her closet and we ended up finding a lot of things we didn't need. I have a huge bag right now of clothes to donate!! There are some other things that we are deciding to sell, though, because our family could use the extra income. I've organized quite a few things from the tops section of my closet (because I share my closet with someone else, it's is too tiny to hold space for both tops and bottoms, so I keep my tops hanged and my bottoms in a dresser). I just really like the idea of only having the things I need. I need to look through my dresser eventually!! I love decluterring because it's such a win-win on so many levels: you get rid of stuff you don't need, but you also find such cute nostalgic things you've lost along the years!! Will forever love decluttering!!!

If I find anything cute, I'll for sure have to show you guys :)))

My first blog!! :)

 Omgg my first blog I'm so excited!! I'm writing this in a rush so I'm sorry about the lack of proper capitalization and grammar LOLL

Yesterday, my dad found our old Canon camera, and I'm so excited to take photos with it!!! I just need to find my SD card! I'm super excited to start practicing taking nice photos to post, I want to make this blog and my Instagram feel like my fashion diary!! :D The only difference between this and my instagram is that this blog will contain more of my ramblings and relatively more personal stuff. I like to think of my Instagram as just a photo gallery and my blog as a place where you can get to know me better and read actual written things. 

I keep getting so many ideas on things I want to do, but in the back of my head I know I should be studying for my driver's written test (T_T) I really just want to play and have fun!! That's it for the blog today. I can't wait to take photos and post them on here and my Instagram soon!!

P.S. I was heavily inspired to make a blog by my cool friend Moph (who uses Neocities instead) and a gyaru I randomly met on the Gyaru subreddit (I'm very inactive on reddit but like to browse occasionally) named BunGal who has her own Blogspot, so shoutout to both of those people!!!:))
